Sheikh Anas Burhan
Background: Sheikh Anas Burhan was born in Damascus, Syria and has been living in Australia since 2006. Since arriving in Australia, Sheikh Anas has been very active in the Islamic Community and has been an Imam and Khateeb at various masajid's and musallahs' through out Sydney.
Education/Qualifications: Sheikh Anas attained a Bachelor Degree in Religion and Islamic Studies at the University of Damascus in Syria. Sheikh Anas also graduated with a Diploma in the Art and Science of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Sheikh Anas specialises in teaching both the recitation and memorisation of the Holy Quran using unique practical methods. As a certified teacher of the Holy Quran with Ijaza, Sheikh Anas has taught at various colleges both in Australia and in Syria including the Assad Institute for Memorisation of the Honourable Quran in Damascus.
The Quran classes are taught using the recitation of Hafs from Aasim (from the line of Shaatibiyah).
