Distance Learning
Sydney Islamic College has a distance learning facility for the Islamic Studies course.
Studying online through our distance learning program is an excellent way to bring study directly into your home.
This is ideal for those who are unable to attend the classes for whatever reason to not miss out on the beneficial knowledge imparted by our qualified teachers. Typically mothers with children, workers with late shifts, interstate and international students are those who make most use of this service.
The distance program follows the classes as they are held, and so interaction on the student forums will be in sync with all students.
The resources distance students have access to online include:
- Audio
- Video
- Forums
- Teachers notes
- Direct teachers emails
In addition to the online resources, we have a dedicated full-time distance education coordinator. He is able to organise textbooks purchase, technical and admin support, and any other needs and requirements students may have regarding the course and the College.
